  • Adventure travel in the high Tien Shan Mountains: climbing and mountaineering (Victory Peak (Jengish Chokusu), the Tien Shan’s highest summit, and Khan Tengri at the Kyrgyzstan-China border), mountain trekking, downhill skiing.
  • Lake Sary-Chelek - a very beautiful natural body of water deep inside the Western Tien Shan in the territory of a nature reserve.
  • Lake Issyk Kul with numerous guest houses, health resorts and sanatoria on its shores receiving great numbers of tourists throughout the year. The area around the lake is ideal for interesting trips and other activities, which are a perfect addition to the traditional recreation on the shore of Issyk Kul.
  • Main cities: Bishkek and Osh. They are quite unlike, but both are permeated by an atmosphere friendliness and cordiality and both feature a number of tourist places, cafes and restaurants offering local food.
