Address: 27 Babakhanov Str., Bukhara, Uzbekistan. Number of rooms: 7
The new small hotel Bibi-Khanum (‘Bibi-Khanum’ was the nickname of Saray Mulk Khanym or Khanum, aka Cano, Tamerlane’s senior wife; also spelled Bibi-Khanom, Bibi-Khanym; Uzbek: Bibi-Xonim) combines in it the features of a hotel and boutique. It is situated in an old quarter of Bukhara (Uzbek: Bukhoro or Buxoro; also spelled Buchara, Bokhara, Buhara), 2 minutes on foot from the Labi-Khauz ensemble, and offers its guests the friendly atmosphere of a traditional rich Bukharian house. The hotel Bibi-Khanum was organised in a reconstructed 18th-century building, which had once been the residence of a vizier of Bukhara. From there many of Bukhara’s attractions can be easily reached on foot.
The hotel Bibi-Khanum is decorated in the traditional Uzbek style and features an iwan - an open terrace with wooden pillars ornamented with fretwork. The walls are adorned with traditional decorative elements.
The hotel also features free Wi-Fi internet connection.

The hotel Bibi-Khanum has only seven rooms, each of which, however, is highly unique, has its own descriptive name and is decorated in its own way, every time demonstrating the love of its decorators for the rich traditions of the Uzbek people.
All the rooms are designed in the classical eastern style and have in them cosy furniture, air conditioners, mini-bars, LCD-televisions with satellite TV, spacious bathrooms with showers and hairdryers. Each room bears its own name reflecting its unique decorative style: ‘Afrosiab’ (with fragments of the frescoes found at the archaeological site Afrosiab), ‘Mohi-Khosa’, ‘Phoenix’, ‘Varakhsha’, ‘Navruz’, ‘Ganch’ and ‘The Summer Palace’. The interiors of the rooms are decorated with fretwork in wood and ganch and adorned with suzani tapestries (also spelled suzane, syuzane) and oriental miniatures.
