Newly opened New Star Khiva hotel is located in Dishan Kala (outer city) near the walls of Ichan Kala (inner city) of ancient Khiva, which has a history more than 2500 years.
The hotel is located in a former madrasah with the minaret of Muhammad Mahram, built in 1903 by one of the most influential officials of Muhammad Rahim Khan II, the ruler of the Kungrat dynasty in the Khiva khanate. Guests of the hotel can climb the minaret to view the ancient city from a breathtaking angle, or relax and enjoy the sweet atmosphere of the East in a special rooftop relaxation area.
