The mountaineering tourist base «Artouch» is located among the enchanting Fan Mountains of Tajikistan at an altitude of 2200 m. The recreation area spreads over 15 hectares of alpine meadows at the source of the Chil Chashma spring. «Artouch» is an ideal place for mountaineers - professionals and amateurs, as well as those who love nature, archeology, and ethnography. In 20 minutes from the hotel, there is a beautiful natural climbing wall, suitable for all age groups. Visitors reach Kulikalon, Alaudin, Ahllo, Marguzon lakes, and Lake Iskanderkul - the last one legends connect with Alexander the Great.
The way to the base is also very picturesque. You can get here from Khujand, through Anzob Pass - from Dushanbe (Tajikistan), and from Uzbekistan - through Samarkand, crossing the border near Penjikent. The second route crosses the picturesque mountains of Uzbekistan, and visitors can have some rest visiting «lower» «Artouch» located in Samarkand region. Two tourist zones located in neighboring states work together, guaranteeing all their guests comfortable rest and high quality service.
