Photo Gallery: beautiful landscapes of the Pamir-Alai, Kyrgyzstan
This album is dedicated to a picturesque region in the Pamir-Alai, where we have organised our trekking tour The Mountain Kingdom of Aksu-Karavshin (Batken District, Kyrgyzstan).
Aksu-Karavshin is a breathtakingly beautiful area famous for its high pointed rocky peaks, deep gorges, rapid streams and complete isolation from civilisation. Although the immense panoramas of mountains cannot be taken fully in one picture, we have attempted to compile a collection of best photographs from our previous treks in the Aksu-Karavshin area:
photos of mountain passes - Aksu (4,062 m), Kara-Su (3,720 m), Ak-Tubek (4,390 m) and Kosh-Maynok (3,220 m);
photos of peaks - Aksu (5,355 м), Blok (5,239 m), Pyramidalny (5,509 m), Asan (4,230 m), Usan (4,378 m), Iskander (5,120 m), and photos of pointed brothers – Russian Tower, Slesova and Odessa Peaks;
photos of the Orto-Chashma Valley, Ak-Suu and Kara-Su Gorges, and the Karavshin, Aksu, Ak-Mechet and Ak-Tubek Rivers.
